Elegant wine storage system

If you’re looking for a way to get wine bottles off the table and yet want a stylish way to store them, check out the wall-mountable Vynebar.

This functional metal holder comes in two sizes, the 18-in. Vynebar 8, which holds eight bottles, or the 9-in. Vynebar 4, which holds four bottles.

Streamlined design – some would call it functional art – the units are available in eight colours and four finishes. A chemical bath is used to colour the metal, giving it a permanent finish that will not chip off or fade over time.

The Vynebar is designed to accommodate most 750-ml high-shoulder wine bottles.

Custom units can be made to accommodate soft-shoulder bottles or other shapes and sizes.

New swing-out fridge shelf gives easy access

What’s been pushed to the back of your fridge? The pickles? An open can of tuna? Yogurt? Do you even want to know what’s going bad back there?

The newly introduced Fridge-Tamer Swing-Out Shelf has been designed to make the hidden food in the back of the fridge accessible without moving any items.

“The Swing-Out Shelf lets you quickly access leftovers for a fast and easy meal or snack, or get at those condiments without having to juggle armfuls of food,” says Keith Cumming, president of Life-Tamers Inc., a Welland, ON-based product development company.

The Fridge-Tamer installs onto any glass fridge shelf and on any level with four heavy-duty suction cups. It can also swing out to the left or right and holds over 25 lb. of food. Canadian Tire stores plan to carry it.
